    Dometic caravan fridge problems forum There are so many ’fridge problems’ that turn out to be a power supply issue. Last year we bought a new caravan with a Waeco RPD-215 Compressor Fridge in it. It's more than likely rubbish in most caravans. We switched to gas because we needed the fridge cold for our trip this weekend. Have taken to three different guys who all think the same, as it’s 2008 fridge. This time i forgot. I have reset the BMS. I in all honesty can't give you any suggestions as after 12 months of trying to get help from dometic we gave up, their customer service is non existent. Dometic said it was the mother board but it ended up being the igniter. There are no batteries. Not yet but there is a hint that this might be the problem. We are now up in Darwin and have switched it to 240V, for the last week, but have not used the van as we are in a house sit.
